Is Ontoly Cloud an AI code reviewer?+

No. Ontoly compiles repository facts into a deterministic Software Graph. Review is one product surface that uses those facts; models may explain bounded evidence after the graph has resolved it.

Does Ontoly upload my repository?+

The local CLI builds artifacts on your machine. Cloud workflows require explicit connection or upload. The public prototype does not imply automatic repository access.

Why not use embeddings or repository RAG?+

Ontoly’s core facts come from compiler and graph evidence. Semantic aliases and ranking are deterministic derived artifacts, which makes results reproducible and failures inspectable.

Can coding agents use Ontoly?+

Yes. Compatible agents can use Ontoly through MCP and portable Agent Skills. The workflow requires stable-node resolution and cited evidence before source fallback.

Is the VS Code extension available?+

The extension is in developer preview. The documented CLI and MCP workflow are the available foundation while editor distribution is prepared.

Which model provider is supported?+

The prototype includes a DeepSeek provider boundary and local fallback. Models explain evidence; they do not build or validate the Software Graph.

Is Ontoly Cloud production ready?+

The hosted product is a public prototype. Availability, retention, security controls, and commercial terms will be finalized before general availability.

How do I evaluate Ontoly?+
